We introduce a pilot English language course from October 2008. It is designed to simultaneously: expose five and six year old children to the English language and help them interact with it introduce their parents or carers to some basic techniques which they can use to continue the child?s English language experience at home.
As this is a pilot we would like to start with just two small groups. Features: parents or carers will join their child in the group and play an active part in the lessons each group will consist of 7 children and 7 parents or carers (i.e. 14 individuals)
- the children should be absolute beginners (A0)
- the parents or carers should have some basic English (around A1).
The group will be lead by one of our highly qualified and experienced teachers; Elizabeth Kourkov. Elizabeth is British and is married to a Ukrainian. She lives in Kyiv and is bringing up 3 bilingual children of her own.
